Amazing bacon roll and homemade millionaire shortbread. The owner was lovely looking after my bike while I went to the toilet. It might not look fancy but you'll not get a better service and the food was great. Will visit again.

Great breakfast and coffee, hospitable host and quick service. We've been to the Poets Corner Cafe twice now, the breakfast was tasty and piping hot just as it should be. 6 of us arrived together and the service from the very hospitable host was quick and efficient. Good coffee too, we'll be back for sure

We loved this place. The food was really good. Toasted stilton sandwich great. Chips done perfectly. My husband enjoyed his fry-up. Relaxing location and great service. The owner brought out a sausage for our nervous, whiny dog and was really friendly.
Our office buys bacon sandwiches from here every Friday and they're always sensational! Highly recommend. We initially tried all the local cafes in the area and decided Poets Corner was the best.

On holiday, took our donkeys here for a refreshment after a walk along the old railway path from Shillingstone. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, we had a lovely time! The Turkish delight is delicious too :)
